Expand your confidence in managing menopause with this two-part PCWHS webinar series, designed to provide practical guidance, expert insights and the opportunity to have your questions answered by leading specialists in women's health.

The series begins with Menopause Made Easy on Thursday, 15th October 2026, focusing on practical menopause management through case-based learning. Experts will explore risk assessment, prescribing considerations, and strategies for managing side effects and optimising treatment adherence. The session concludes with an interactive expert Q&A.

The second webinar, Menopause: Ask the Expert, takes place on Thursday, 19th November 2026 and provides a unique opportunity for delegates to engage directly with the faculty. Delegates will be able to reflect on the first webinar and pose relevant clinical questions to the faculty as part of their ongoing learning. Experts will address the audience-submitted questions and discuss common clinical challenges, helping attendees obtain a deeper understanding and translate learning into everyday practice. The second webinar will also consider the optimal approach to treatment during the perimenopause.

Speakers

Dr Amy Tatham

PCWHS Finance Director, GP Partner at The Ridge Medical Practice, Bradford, GPwER Gynae, BMS Menopause Specialist, CoSRH Trainer

Dr Amy Tatham is a GP partner and a GP with extended role in gynaecology and menopause in a large Bradford teaching practice where she is the women’s health lead with a passion for providing contraceptive, sexual health and menopause care. She also works in the Bradford hospital based menopause clinic. She enjoys teaching and training and is a CoSRH trainer and holds the advanced BMS menopause certificate and provides secondary and primary care-based specialist menopause clinics.

She has had experience working for Bradford Districts and Craven ICB and has a passion for addressing health inequalities and driving change to improve access and the care we provide for all our women.

Dr Charlotte Gooding

PCWHS Training Director, GP and Menopause Specialist

Dr Charlotte Gooding is a GP and British Menopause Society accredited Menopause Specialist, holding their advanced certificate of training. She qualified from Newcastle medical school in 2008 and trained in General practice and has previously been a GP partner in Newcastle.

Charlotte runs a NHS Menopause and Endocrine side effect service for breast cancer patients in Newcastle and has an active role for Breast Cancer Now facilitating their support groups and in the Northern Cancer Alliance educating health professionals and patients on menopause in cancer patients. She also works privately for Menopause Care.

Charlotte is passionate about educating other professionals on women’s health as well as supporting girls and women to understand their bodies better and support them advocate for better health outcomes.

Dr Lindsey Thomas

PCWHS Chair, GPwER Women's Health

Dr Lindsey Thomas is the Chair of the PCWHS and an experienced GP based in Sheffield with a specialist interest in women’s health.

She currently works in primary care in Sheffield, in community Gynaecology in Oxfordshire and up until recently was the Clinical lead for a Menopause and Menstrual clinic in Sheffield. She also works privately for Myla Health and has previously worked in sexual health also.

She is a CoSRH and BMS menopause trainer. As well as an Honorary Lecturer at The University of Manchester.

She is passionate about improving women’s health and sees education as an important part of this.

Dr Carys Sonnenberg

MBChB DCH DRCOG DFFP MRCGP PGDip Obesity and Weight Management.

NHS GP, BMS registered Menopause Specialist, founder & clinical director Rowena Health Ltd, director on the board of the Primary Care Women’s Health Society and co-author of Women’s Health Made Easy published in March 2026.

Delegate non-attendance for free events

For events that are free to attend or free places are offered for NHS and Other Public Sector companies delegate registration is free for the capacity of places. Delegates must book their place up to 48 hours prior to the event. We plan our catering and other arrangements according to the number of delegates registered; if you register with a complimentary place for a PCWHS event then fail to attend, we reserve the right to charge a non-attendance fee of £40 + VAT to cover our costs.

Delegate cancellation – Free events

All cancellations must be notified in writing to admin@PCWHS.co.uk and must arrive no later than 72 hours prior to the event. After that date cancellations will be treated as Non-Attendance (see above).

PCWHS reserves the right to refuse refunds based on the notice period of the cancellation.

When giving 30 days’ notice, delegates may expect a full refund.

Anything less than that time period and delegates will be entitled to receive from a 50% to 10% refund dependent on the length of time given.

Changing delegate details

There will be no charge if a substitute person wishes to replace the original delegate. Please inform our office at admin@PCWHS.co.uk of any change to the original booking.

Event Cancellation Policy

The PCWHS’s courses are constantly updated and improved and the PCWHS reserves the right to alter any of the courses’ content without prior notice. The PCWHS reserves the right to cancel a course at any time without liability. In these circumstances, delegates will be offered an alternative date if possible.

Booking policy

Please note your booking is not confirmed until you receive, in writing, a booking number from the PCWHS; only when this has been received is your booking secure.

Privacy policy

The PCWHS will not keep any credit card details on file and after each event all this information will be securely destroyed.
